Portfolio

At MRS we are using portfolio technique to reveal early childhood learners progress towords his learning efforts. ECCE teacher collect various samples of children’s work. The samples are containing notes from: developmental checklists, parent interviews, self-portraits, pictures as well as samples of scribbling, drawing, and writing.
Miri Roshni School use one psychological technique for collecting data and record of a child. Portfolios help to capture many dimensions of children's development and learning..
Types of items that included in portfolio:
I. Photographs of a child engaged in any activity area/work/play
II. Work samples (sample of drawing, printing, pasting, attempts of writing, practice work sheets)
III. Photographs of collage prepared by child/children
IV. Organized and structured observations, performance assessment
V. Dictated drawings
